Despite being one of the most versatile Window Managers out there it´s default appearance offers little eye candy.
AfterStep is modular, fast and very configurable.

AfterStep can be very versatile, this is my default Linux Desktop and was shown among other themes at LinuxTag 2005 in Karlsruhe.
Using a Computer should be all about the versatility of the Interface. As far as I know only the following GUIs come close or surpass AfterStep´s functionality:
LiteStep (Windows)
FVWM (Unix/Linux)
Enlightenment (Unix/Linux)
